Position: Broadway Square Steward + Folkways Event Production
Location: Broadway Square
Salary: $15-$18 per hour depending on experience
Hours: Hours: Part-time, 10 to 40 hours per week
Looking to fill multiple positions for the season (May to October)

Job Overview:
Join our team as a Broadway Square Steward and play a key role in maintaining the vibrancy and safety of our urban park. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys outdoor work, interacting with the public, and contributing to the community's enjoyment of a public space.
Responsibilities:
Set up and organize park amenities daily, including games, tables, chairs, and sun umbrellas.
Assist with the setup and takedown of equipment for private events, ensuring the space is well-prepared and tidy.
Perform routine inspections and light cleaning of park facilities to ensure they are well-maintained and inviting.
Monitor and restock bathroom supplies, and maintain cleanliness of tables and chairs.
Provide assistance and information to park visitors to enhance their experience.
Report any maintenance issues, potential hazards, or safety concerns to management promptly.
Work flexibly to support a variety of park activities and events, contributing to the park’s vibrant community life.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in customer service, facilities, or event support helpful.
Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
Physically able to perform cleaning tasks and manage equipment setup.
Availability to work variable hours, including weekends and holidays.
