We are thrilled to invite you to participate in this year's Christkindlmarkt, hosted by Folkways.

As we continue to evolve and elevate the event, we’re excited to carry forward the retail concept we introduced last year—designed specifically for small business owners like you.

Event Evolution: Pop-Up Shops & Single Vendor Show Booths

Now in its second year, this model blends pop-up shops within the concourse with a limited number of single vendor show booths. This approach has helped create a more immersive and streamlined shopping experience for guests while offering vendors high-visibility spaces to showcase their work in a warm and festive atmosphere.

Dates and Hours

Friday, November 21st - Sunday, November 23rd and Friday, November 28th - Sunday, November 30th

Friday 12-9pm, Saturday 12-9pm, Sunday 12-6pm

Vendor Opportunities

  1. Pop-Up Shops Inside the Concourse:

    • Perfect for businesses looking for high foot traffic, visibility and a larger space for all 6 days of the event.

    • Shops can sell wholesale, vintage, or consignment, but we would like to see a variety of goods sold in these spaces as curated popup shops. (Items do not need to be handmade, or made by you)

    • 3 shop spaces and 2 food spaces are available. Submit a proposal to inquire further.

    • On Map: Indoor 2, 7, 8, 9, 10

  2. Single Vendor Show Booths:

    • Ideal for single vendors selling their handmade items.

    • Can be split between weekends. Preference is given to vendors who can attend both weekends of the event.

    • 6 indoor spaces are available and 8 outdoor christmas huts are available at a lower rate. 

    • Apply now to secure your spot.

  3. Food Vendors and Food Trucks:

    • 1 outdoor food truck/trailer space and 1 outdoor hut available. Apply now to secure your spot.

    • Ideal food vendors and trucks 

      1. Capacity and experience to vend continuously throughout the event

      2. Experience in event catering and product offering with fast speed of service

    • Can be split between weekends. Preference is given to vendors who can attend both weekends of the event.

Preferred Vendors

We are particularly interested in vendors who can commit to both weekends of the Christkindlmarkt. This ensures a consistent and vibrant market experience for our attendees. Additionally, we prioritize vendors with booth concepts that fulfill the diverse needs of our market. Ideal vendors are those who:

  • Offer a Variety of Products Suitable for Gifting: This includes handmade crafts, unique artisanal items, specialty foods, holiday themed products, and other giftable products that appeal to a wide range of shoppers.

  • Have a Unique Offering: Vendors with distinctive and high-quality products that stand out and enhance the overall market experience.

By focusing on these criteria, we aim to create a dynamic and enjoyable shopping environment that attracts and delights visitors throughout the event.

Application Process

To Apply for a Single Vendor Show Booth or Food Vendor/Food Truck

To Apply for a Pop-Up Shop:

To apply for a popup shop at Christkindlmarkt 2025, please prepare and submit a detailed proposal that includes the following information:

  1. General Business Concept and Partners (if applicable)

    • Describe your business and any other businesses that you plan to partner with for the popup shop.

  2. Description of Products:

    • Provide a comprehensive list of the items you intend to sell. Highlight any unique or standout products, especially those suitable for gifting.

  3. Booth Decoration and Theme:

    • Describe how you plan to decorate your booth to embody the Christkindlmarkt spirit. Include any specific themes, decorations, or displays that will make your booth attractive and festive.

  4. Audience Fit:

    • Explain why you believe the Christkindlmarkt audience is perfect for your merchandise. Discuss how your products align with the interests and needs of our visitors.

  5. Preferred Space:

    • Indicate your preferred spaces and any specific needs.
